r o t a t i o n * 24 [05 Aug 2005|11:00pm] [ music | bloodthirsty butchers - bandwagon ] Hello hello! This is Becca (yuyami_mazohyst) filling in for Claudia. As you may or may not know, she is spending two lovely weeks away at camp. I offered to do this week's rotation for her because i thought sounded like fun.(Little did i know, it's a lot of work. ^^;) So, i tried to choose some songs by artists that Claudia hasn't uploaded before (or by anyone really, for that matter. XD) and i'm sure you'll enjoy them. Yes, yes you will. Just give them a chance. **NOTE: Everything has been uploaded on YouSendIt and will expire August 11th, 2005. カリ≠ガリ (Cali≠Gari) [Maguro] [Hizunda! Hizunda!] [Shinjuku Elecuitel] [masu genshou variation 1 yuuzou muzou hen] [haikara satsubatsu haiso zessan] Uhh..i guess i got a little carried away with the Cali≠Gari.XD But if you haven't heard them yet, you absolutely MUST, you don't know what you're missing out on. I adore them because all their songs are consistently amazing and unique. They're one of my favourite bands, for sure. Lab. [DUB NOTE] I really like this song, it has a cool sound to it. I absolutely love the guitar solo. Nookicky songs [sailing of donky] [PHRASTRATION] video [PHRASTRATION live in Hong Kong] I love love love Nookicky. They make such lovely melodic music, it's so relaxing. And Full-san (vocalist) is quite an interesting person to talk to. He laughed at me. Basically, i wish sailing of donky was longer. Or maybe it's better at that length. Porno Graffiti [Sister] I forgot about this song, and then i recently discovered it. It kind of reminds me of hobbit music. But in a good way. Thee Michelle Gun Elephant [akage no kelly] I first heard this band because they were on the soundtrack of Aoi Haru (an amazing movie, btw. And my darling Ryuhei Matsuda is in it. ♥), and this song in particular absolutely blew me away. They have a rockabilly sort of style. グルグル映畫館 (Guruguru Eigakan) [Ao no shirosa ni boku maketa] Even their name is cool! It was hard for me to pick a song, but i decided on this one since it was the first one i heard. 東京事変 (Tokyo Jihen) [Gomatsurisawagi] Tokyo Jihen is Shiina Ringo's new band. They're fantastic. Cornelius [brand new season] I read about Cornelius in Interview magazine a couple months back in their Tokyo issue. They were raving about his Fantasma album, so i thought i'd give it a try and needless to say i loved it. 黒夢 (Kuroyume) [MARIA -screw mix-] This is one of the first jrock songs i ever heard, and i like it just as much now as i did then. I don't know what's up with the "screw mix", it sounds like the original to me. But anyway... Lucy [GAGA DISCO] I found out about Lucy recently, and i'm really glad i decided to download some of their music. This song is so fun!^^ Machine [Baby Blood] Haha, okay, i was on the Barks Music website, and they had a clip of the PV for this song and i really liked it. But apparently they're not going to be releasing the full PV, which is retarded. But it's a cool song regardless, from their newest album. Missile Girl Scoot [Fake Sista Ain't Shit!] I'm thinking this is probably jrock, but it's a bit of stretch. The band is composed of your typical guitarist, bassist and drummer, with the addition of two female rappers. And the song title cracks me up. KuRt [Taxi Driver] I can't really remember why i uploaded this. I gave it a quick listen the other day, and it sounded pretty good. Well, this has been fun!
